On the morning of April 17, 2026, the Ronghuai International Student Academy successfully hosted the 10th “Chinese Language Talent Show” and an International Chinese Language Day-themed Fun Fair on the playground of the International School. The theme of this event was “Chasing Time with Chinese,” echoing the vision of “Chinese: Illuminating Diverse Dreams.” The aim was to enhance international students’ enthusiasm for learning Chinese and their deeper understanding of Chinese culture through a variety of engaging activities.
The event featured two main sections: “Chinese Cultural Experiences” and “Chinese-Language Interactive Games.” The cultural experiences included traditional activities such as painting lacquer fans, making traditional paper-cuttings, coloring Peking Opera facial makeup, crafting handmade scented sachets, and writing the character “fortune” with a brush, while the language games comprised cultural riddle quizzes, a fun “chopstick challenge,” a word-guessing game called “Draw and Guess,” a Chinese-culture knowledge blind-box activity, and a Chinese tongue-twister challenge. Students at the venue actively participated in the interactive sessions, creating a lively yet well-organized atmosphere.
To enhance the cultural atmosphere, students were encouraged to participate in the event wearing their own ethnic attire or traditional Chinese Hanfu. Members of the Student Association and volunteer classes assisted with venue setup, event guidance, and on-site coordination. This event not only provided students with a dynamic platform for practicing Chinese language but also further fostered a diverse, inclusive, and vibrant campus culture, effectively promoting cultural exchange and friendly interaction among young people from different countries.
